existing list like this

etc.

also I have an existing letter when I go to merge
documents I am confused as I don't have chevrons on my
list of names do I have to go back to the 400 addresses
and re-do them in data???? if someone can give me step-by
step instructions in laymen terms would be greatful.

If all the addresses comprise three lines, convert text to a three column
table (or replace the commas with ^p and make that a four column table), add
a title row then use as a merge data file
