Is it possible to get mail merge to print a 9 digit barcode?
I use Word 97 to print mail merge labels. When asked to insert th
barcode into the label it wants the line that contains the zip and the
it wants the line that contains the address. This will print an eleve
digit postnet barcode in the label.
This barcode prints at 20 bars per/inch.
I need it to print at 22 bars per/inch to fit into my label.
Anyone?

I also need it to print just the zip+4 (9 digit) barcode without addin
the address digits. I when just the zip is used for the barcode fiel
Word still prints an 11 digit with the destination point as 9
(Complete merlin failure!). Magazines only have to have the 9 digi
barcode to get automation postal rates.
Does anyone know how to restrict Word to 9 digit barcodes

Most of the regular contributors to this group are based outside the US and
thus have no use for bar codes. I have crossposted to two alternative groups
to widen the possibility of response.
