I am trying to merge an Outlook database with a word file. It all work fine
but the outcome is a txt email message to all contacts. I don't want to
attach the word file. What is the trick to include the contents in my Word
file in the email as HTML formatting.

You have to be using Word 2002/Outlook 2002 or later, preferably
Word/Outlook 2002 SP2 to see the HTML option when merging to e-mail.
