I'm schedule students, with their Period, Class, Room, etc.  Each form
letter (student record) should take about 1/3 or a page.  How do I create a
form letter that creates 3 per page (3 students), then jumps to the next
page.  These pages will then be manually cut in 3rds to save paper.

I have roughly 2000 students to produce schedules for  ... so, it should
produce about 665 pages, which will then be cut.

Thanks for your help ..

An easy way is to create a label format with three labels to the page then
perform a label merge.
Or create a form letter merge with your three letters displayed on the page
and put a NEXT field before both the second and third letters.
