I created a merged document and saved it. When I view the document,
the variable data shows as it does in preview print mode. When I print
it from my computer, it prints property also.
However, when I take it to a copy house (Kinkos), everything on the
document prints but the variable data.
What gives? I am lost. I am using Word 2000.
Thanks, Larry
Execute the merge to a new document and then take that document to the copy
house.

Doug,
I tried that and it didn't work. In fact, I took the merge template
and data source to the copy house and re-created the merged document
with the same results - the merged document looked fine in print
preview within Word, but when printed the variable data did not
appear.

That is something that I would have to see to believe. When you execute a
mailmerge, the variable data that is inserted into the document is the same
as anyother text in the document.

Well, if you're in L.A., I can make you a believer!

Hi Larry,
The next best thing might be to email the merged document so that I can look
at it
