Hi,
I am trying to create mail merge template with macro
length being > 17 characters, but Word XP is limiting the
characters to 17 characters. This was supported in Word
2000 but not in XP. All templates which were working in
Word 2000 are currently not working in XP. Is this a known
issue?

Any updates or patches are available from Microsoft..?

Thanks in advance
Guru

What do you mean by "macro length"?

Macro is nothing but the Mail Merge field in the template.

Eg: <Table_LastName> or <Table_FirstName>

I created a data source with a field name that consisted of 35 characters
and did not run into any problems.
