Hi,
Ive got a document that Ive gotten from someone, that has about 30
mergefields in them..
Its all part of a template with a table on it..
When I try to edit one of the fields, I can only see part of the field
data.. the rest is on the following lines. (Because the field logic is
too long, it wraps) I cant get to it.. is there some way to click on
a field and have an Edit dialog box come up ? Is there a way to get a
list of all the fields in a document? Im stumped as to how to edit the
code on these long field names that wrap.. about the only way ive been
able to do it is make a cell taller, edit the code, then fix the table
back to the right size.. its a pain..

Hi Craig,
There are two fairly easy ways to deal with this issue, without having to
generate a list of all fields:
1. Copy the field that you need to edit out of the table and into the
body of the document. Edit it then paste the update back into the table.
Then delete the copy in the body of the document.
2. Temporarily increase the row height and/or column width of the table
cell that the field is in. Do this after 'revealing' the field code so that
you'll be able to see how much is enough as you drag the border of the cell
down/across. Edit the field then restore the cell to its original size.
Cheers
