"To run the macro in this procedure it is necessary to set a reference to
the Microsoft Office Outlook Object Library. You do this from within the
Visual Basic Editor, by selecting References from the Tool menu and then
checking the item Microsoft Office Outlook ##.0 Object Library (where ## is
the Outlook version number)."

Hi Doug,
Sorry, I thought I had set the correct reference to the Outlook
Library. Now that I've corrected my error I still seem to have a
problem with receiving e-mails or attachments. The macro appears to be
processing but displays the following message:
Ordinal 36 could not be located in the dynamic link library MAP132.DLL
How do I fix this problem? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi Greg,
Sorry, I know nothing about the inner workings of the MAPI32.dll. All that
I could suggest is that you run a detect and repair on the software, or
possibly post this question to an Outlook newsgroup.

Hi,
I'm trying to get help with an error message related to the
MAP132.DLL. The orignal posting of this message began in the newsgroup
"microsoft.public.word.mailmerge.fields". A Word MVP suggested I
contact someone in an Outlook newsgroup for assistance.
My basic problem is the following error message:
"Ordinal 36 could not be located in the dynamic link library
MAP132.DLL".
Can you tell me what this error message means?
For your convenience, additional background information regarding the
orignial post can be found at the following weblink:

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Greg

Ordinal 36 or 136?
Something like that usually means that either Eudora or Simple MAPI is the
default mail handler or that MAPI is corrupted. Make sure Outlook is the
default mail and calendar handler in IE's Programs tab. If the problem
persists after rebooting delete MAPI*.* and do a detect and repair of
Office.
