I am trying to create and make a mail merge for a 4-up
postcard mass mailing and every time I create it and get
to the final step and merge the document, even though it
says "next record" on no. 2, 3, and 4 postcard on page 1,
when I merge the document all of page one with all 4
postcards have the same address, and page 2 with postcard
no. 5, 6, 7, & 8 all have the next address (but same one
on all 4 postcards on page). What is going on?

I have been able to create labels ok in the past, so
don't understand why this is different.

HELP!

Postcards are labels as far as Word is concerned - use a standard label
merge - see http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm

I know they are standard label merge, however I do exactly as I do in all other label creations that WORK, but in this instance they do not--only difference is that I have text and pictures on the postcard that are the same, only item changing with each postcard is the mail merge address which ends up the same for each page.  Is there something to do with a Section break or something

What it sounds like is that the { NEXT } field has gone missing from
the three postcards that need it.

As a guess, maybe you edited the first position, then copy-paste to
the other three positions, and forgot to add the NEXT field?
