Making labels from Word table as data source

I have a number of addresses in a single column  word xp
table with one row for each address (with the first row
as header), which I use as data source for mail merge for
makinG labels.

However, the addresses never appear on the labels, which
first show "next reord" on each label and when the wizard
is finished, the labels are empty and without data.

Anybody who can help me? Thanks in advance.

You have missed the step to Propogate the labels.  Form the view menu,
select Toolbars and check the Mailmerge toolbar so that it appears.  The
Propogate Labels button is near the centre of the toolbar.

Have you clicked on the propgate icon on the mail merge
toolbar, this will copy the "next record" field and any
other you have inserted.   Then click on the icon Merge to
New Document, you will then see you list of labels.
