change datasource location in mail merge

I use mail merge in word 97 (no service pack).
This mail merge use datasource from share server like \\serv1\share\test.xls.
It work fine until  i change servername from \\serv1 to \\serv2.
When i open mail merge , it occure error that "Error! Not a valid filename.".

           Everybody Please help me

Do you mean you are going through the connection process again and choosing
a different server? Or are you trying to change the name in some other way?
If so, what?
