Hi

I have opsted this query under the Access heading too but
perhaps it is a problem with Word.  I have a database that
has hyperlinks to a number of merge documents.  These
documents are based on parameter queries in my database so
that only data for one record is merged into word.

This is all fine and well and works very well in my office
BUT we have opened an office elsewhere that connect
straight to our server via broadband and when they click
the hyperlinks on the database, the merge doc opens but
does not run the query???  They are left with a document
full of merge fields that they can't merge.  However,
everyhting still works fine in our office...  curious.

Any ideas? please...

First, do you have the same version of Word in each office? Which versions?

How are the documents connecting to the data source? Are they connecting to
a .mdb using a path name with a drive letter? Does the same drive letter
point to the same location from both offices?
