Decimal Place Format!

Hi

I am trying to merge data into fields in Word 2002 from
Access 2002.
The data format in the Access 2002 is displayed as shown
here:

Freq
0.009 MHz

However if I merge this using the Word 2002 View data the
data displayed is shown here:

Freq
8.9999999999-E3

Is there anyway of displaying the latter as shown in the
Former i.e.,  0.009

Any help would be most appreciated

In the mailmerge main documnet, select the mergefield and use Shift+F9 to
toggle on the field code, then add the following formatting switch inside
the closing }

\# "0.000"

Alternatively, create a query in Access as use the Format() function on that
field to force the formatting that you want.
