I am using a 3rd party software that merges templates
into Microsoft word. When a certain button is selected, a
drop down menu appears allowing user to choose which
template to use. Problem is, templates are not in
alphabetical order. They are in alphabetical order in the
folder in which they are stored, but in the drop down are
not. This is Word 2000 SP-3. Another coworker has Word
2002- SP2 and hers DOES alpha sort the same drop down
menu. Any ideas?

Without seeing the code that is being used to load the templates into the
drop down, there's no way to advise you how to change this.  You may have to
talk to the 3rd party.
