I need to find out if there is any way to print checks
with mail merge.  I have the name and amount (ex: Susie
Smith / $5.00) in an excell worksheet.  I need to find out:
1.  is there a way to merge or convert the dollar figure
to dollar text (ex:  five dollars)and ..
2.  are there any check templates available like there are
label templates?

thanks!

Yes, you can add the \* DolloarText or the \* CardText switch
to the mergefield:
   - Alt+F9 to display the field codes
   - Edit the field; example:
       { Mergefield Amount \* DollarText }
   - Alt+F9 to hide the field codes

Note that this switch won't display anything above 999,999
correctly. There's an article on my website, in the Numbering
section, that tells how you can set up a complex field set
that will work up to 999,999,999

I don't know of any. But a label template is really only a
table, the structure of which reflects how labels are laid
out a sheet of paper.
