I have a problem when using Excel as the data source for a
Word Mail Merge.  The date (in UK Format dd/mmmm/yuyy)
such as 01 Apr 2004 in Excel becomes 04 Jan 2004 in the
merged Word document.  Any ideas?  I have tried switches
with no success.

I take it this is Word 2002?

Go to the Word 2002 section of my website's mail merge FAQ
and you should find the information you need.

In summary: this is a problem with the OLE DB connection
method that's been corrected in the most recent Service
Packs. And if you don't have them (and don't want them) then
you have to use a different connection method than OLE DB.
