I am using Word 2000 and my mail merge has completely
stopped working.  When I click on MailMerge I get the
option to choose Document Type or Options but when I click
on them nothing happens.

Also, all of my templates have disappeared.

I have unloaded and reloaded Word twice and still nothing.

Thanks.

Laurie

Unloading and reloading of Word is almost never required to fix things.
More likely what you need to do is rename the normal.dot template to
normalold.dot and then restart Word.  If that solves the problem and there
are customizations in the old normal dot template, you can use the organizer
to copy them over.

Doug,

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  You are a genius.  This
worked and I have been battling this for a month.  Our IT
person at work couldn't figure it out.
