Lots of our documents have includetexts which bring in
bookmarks from a main global document that we use. Since
moving to Word 2003 none of these fields update when the
document is printed, even though "Update fields" is
selected in print options. Pressing F9 on the field
makes it update, but printing will not. Any help would
be appreciated.

Hi Ann,
Checking the 'update automatic links at open' option on the
Tools|options|General tab may also help.

Hi Ann,
There are lots of "security checks" in the newest software
coming out of Redmond. One of them prevents fields from
updating automatically. See this KB article for a
discussion, as well as a Registry key you can set to
counteract the behavior
