Hi Graham
It seems to work, however I don't want the comma at the last record and when I try to put some text at the end it repeats for each record. What I want to have happened is the following
A, B, C are the selected items on the list
Thanks again

Create a directory/catalog merge and put the field(s) on the same line. Ad
a comma and a space, but do not press enter. The fields will follow on
another wrapping to the margin

You will need to remove the final comma and add the text after executing the
merge.
