I am trying to do an email merge i have set my document with text, borders, tables, numbers etc, when i do my merge and do a couple of tests to my machine it has automatically defaulted my setting to plain text and has taken all the colours orders out Can anybody help me. Only plain text, or attachments. You need to either upgrade to Word 2002 or use a third-party application to do email merges. I have my default email type set to HTML but the mail merge still converts it to Plain Text. When I exicute the merge from Word it runs through the contacts I have selected but it does not actually create the emails.
