I am not a spammer but I do need to send mail merge e-
mails with attachments. I currently use a program called
Gammadyne mailer which is excellent but really a cannon
to kill a fly.

Does MS intend to add 1 more dialog to it's mail merge to
e-mail wizard to add attachments?

I doubt if anyone here knows the answer to that question, and even if they
did, they probably wouldn't be allowed to tell us.

I would guess you have seen the following article:

The Word MVPs article worked brilliantly. I am now
struggling to generate HTML format e-mails. Appreciate any
help.

I don't know for sure but I think you would have to set

oItem.BodyFormat = olFormatHTML
