How do I make mailing barcodes dispaly on a document or on to an envelope when mail merging multiple addresses?  I can do it for a single address but not for muliple addresses

Thanks for helping

Bill

Hi Bill

Insert the mergefield containing the zipcode inside a { BARCODE } field as
follows

{ BARCODE { MERGEFIELD "Zip" } }

If you are inserting the field codes from the keyboard, you must use Ctrl+F9
to insert the Field delimiters.

Under the Control Panel Regional and Language Options utility, the Standards
and formats under the Regional Options tab must be set to
English (United States) otherwise, the field will return  Zip code not
valid!

We don't use barcodes in the UK, so this answer is more of an intelligent
guess than something I can reproduce here. The barcode is reproduced by a
field and presumably that field is not updating correctly in the merge; so
merge to a new document, select that document (CTRL+A) ande press F9 to
update the fields.

Hi Graham,

If under the Control Panel Regional and Language Options utility, the
Standards and formats under the Regional Options tab you select English
(United States) you can get the barcodes to display.  My experience of
inserting the zipcode mergefield inside a barcode field is that the barcodes
are automatically updated.
