MS Office Forum / Word / Mailmerge and Fax / April 2004lost data merge manager window
I have been doing data merges using the data merge manager. However, recently when I try to open the data merge manager, the data merge manager window doesn't appear on my screen anymore. Can anyone tell me where it has gone, and how I can get it back Hi Adrian, What version of Word is this? When you say it doesn't appear on the screen anymore, do you mean that it there is no longer an item for it under the Tools (>Letters and Mailings) menu? There is a mailmerge toolbar that you can turn on under View>Toolbars that I find to be more useful. Hi Doug Thanks for your reply, and sorry for not providing more detail in my question I am using Word X for Mac. This version of Word unfortunately does not have a mailmerge toolbar The exact story is that there still is an item under Tools (>Data Merge Manager), but when I click it, the actual data merge manager doesn't pop up...
