Does anyone know how to suppress blank lines in a Word 2002 mail merge? Specifically, we're trying to keep blank lines from appearing when the merged record has a blank "address2" line. If I remember correctly, in earlier versions this was a simple checkbox... Hi Linda, Word 2002 should be suppressing these by default. But it won't if there's ANYTHING besides the mail merge field in the paragraph; this includes IF fields. (I know, this worked in earlier versions!) You can find the checkbox in the older interfaces. There's a table of these, and instructions on how to get them in the Word 2002 section of my website's mail merge FAQ.
