 I have an VB5 App that uses mail merge.  It makes a header and dat
text file, then converts these two to word docs, then merges them with
template Doco.  The Text files and the resultant converted files ar
exactly the same regardless of what versions of office and windows
have (which is to be expected) but Word XP doesn't merge properly.  97
2000 & 2003 all work OK but not XP.  XP misses records and chops som
strings off
 I have looked on the net and found some code examples which are th
same as the one in the app so they were no help.  I have also found som
hints about within word but these also don't work
 Coincidently i tried to do the merge within word with so no luck i
always misses the same records, although i had to attache the heade
file to the data one for it to do this

 Does anyone have any ideas
