MS Office Forum / Word / Mailmerge and Fax / June 2004Title vs. Name
When I include Title in my mail merge it precedes the addressee's name on a label. What we are using as a title is Pathologist, Lab Manager - not Mr., Mrs., etc. Any suggestions? Instead of using the Address Block, insert the individual merge fields. Like <<FirstName>> <<LastName>> <<Title>> <<Address1>> etc.  SignaturePlease post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be interested. I've created an address list with both the Courtesy Title and Job Title. Word uses the variable <<_TITLE0_>> for the Courtesy Title. What variable do I use for Job Title? Basically, how do I insert variables that are not predefined by Word? I've tried guessing several possibilities to no avail. Thank you.
