Can you use data created in MS Works Spreadsheets to
create a mail merge in word

I believe you can if you install the utterly dreadful bug fest called the
Works Add-in that comes with the Works suite. Otherwise you must export the
data from Works in a Word compatible format.

Depends on which version of Word you have. I think Word
2002 and Word 2003 both have a "Works datasheet" converter.
