I have an Excel 2002 spreadsheet with several formulae on
them. The spreadsheet is formatted to 2 decimal places.

I need to mail merge this data to word, but when I try, I
get up to 8 decimal places.

I can't find a way to format the data in Word from the
merge.

Use a switch to restrict the display to two decimal places eg
{Mergefield Number \# ",0.00"}
see http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm

Thanks, that worked!

My next query is about merging a date field. In my source
document, I have the date in UK format (i.e. dd/mm/yyyy).
When I try and merge it, it displays it in teh mm/dd/yyyy
format. Is there anything I can do about this (before I
go grey!) I've tried fooling it, by changing my source
document to US, but that didn't help.
