When I try to use a table from my sql server database, it
tells me it can't find the data source (although I can
connect to it when I create a new data source) or the data
source will not refresh when a new record is added and
should show up in the table I'm using.
Any ideas?  The Help says I can connect to sql server but
I'm frustrated I can't refresh.  I've tried linking the
table via access but when I try to get the data source, it
won't find the linked tables, only the imported ones.
Thanks
Wendy

Hi Wendy,

Which version of Word are we dealing with?

When the new record is added, what is the status of the main
merge document? Is it open in Word?

If you merge to a new document, do you pick up the added
record in the merge result?

And if you close, then re-open the main merge document? Or
link again to the data source? Do you see all the records
then?
