How do I stop the SQL command from running when I open a
merge document WITHOUT using macros, as I know nothing
about them?  (Why does this not happen in earlier versions
of Word?) Thanks

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
