For anyone that can offer assistance, here is my
situation:

In a Word document I have inserted a "check box form
field".  When the user opts to send the document as an
attachment, when sent and opened by the recipient, any
check boxes that were, well, checked, appear
unchecked!!!

Any ideas on what is going wrong?

Thanks/Gary

What happens if the user first saves the form to the hard drive? Word may be
sending the unedited (original) version.

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." For more
about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
