Add Fied to Data Source

I am trying to add a field to data source in Word 2003.  
In older versions there was a selection called manage
field or something of this sort.  I don't see anything
remotely close in this new version of Word.  I very well
may be looking in the wrong place.  Can someone please
help me!! I'm working on a deadline.
