Inserting Address Block to merge envelopes

I'm using Office Pro 2003 on XP.

In the "arrange the content of your envelopes" section of
the merge taskpane: I click on the desired (central)
location on the  envelope where I want the address to
appear and insert  "address block" .... when I run the
merge, the address invariably appears with the name
fields on the location  where I clicked, but the
remainder ( Street address, city, state, zip) either
flush to the left of the envelope or dispersed.  It has
never worked.  I then have to edit envelope by envelope.
Can somebody help? Thank you.

It sounds as though you are not inserting the addressblock in the frame
provided for the purpose as part of the Envelope Address paragraph style.
Display the formatting (CTRL+* i.e. CTRL+SHIFT+8) and click adjacent to the
paragraph mark in the centre to display the frame. Insert the address into
the frame.
