MS Office Forum / Word / Mailmerge and Fax / July 2004Mail Merge Toolbar Word 2002
I have several users who are running Office XP in a domain enviroment on Windows XP Pro. Several users work with the Mail Merge feature. One user in particular uses the Mail Merge toolbar. I got a trouble ticket from her stating that the mail merge toolbar is all greyed out except for the 2 left most buttons. When following the directions to do a mail merge from the help documentation, you are required to use the buttons that are greyed out. Is there any DLLs to replace or post service pack hotfixes? I reinstalled and reloaded the service packs and I'm still stuck in the same place. Any ideas? Thanks, Dan DeRemer It is supposed to be greyed out until the document type is selected with the first button and the date source applied with the second. You only get the buttons that can be used.
