Merge to document - won't print selected pages

When I merge pages to a new document, and then select to
print pages 4-10, it creates a print job with no pages
and ends up printing nothing. I can print the full
document or current page, but not a page range.

Any idea why?

A merge document is broken by sections not pages, so to print a 'page'
address it by its section number in the print dialog. ie for the third
'page' enter s3 in the pages box. or for 3 to 6 s3-s6 etc.
