MS Office Forum / Word / Mailmerge and Fax / July 2004Protecting and merging
Is there a way I can protect my word document from editing but still be able to Mail Merge? Mailmerge is, by definition, a form of editing. I have mailmerge documents that are also protected for forms. I apply the protection after merging the document to the screen.
