I'm trying to merge data from an excel file to a form with
blank tables created in Word 2002.

Upon merging -- the data does not merge correctly (all
jumbled, has #'s & words) -- and all data checked to merge
in excel does not merge -- I only get 8 records out of 55.

I went to Cindy Meister's page and tried to change the
columns to text as instructed -- I change the columns,
click finish, and then go back into the column to see if
it worked and it's back on general -- did not change to
text.  I'm about at my wits end -- any help very
greatfully appreciated!!!!
