I downloaded a letterhead and envelope template (blue
line). I used it for a mail merge. So far so good. In
print preview everything looks good.
When I print the envelope it prints as if I loaded the
envelopes lengthwise. My Canon printer prints envelopes
face up horizontally.
If I use the envelope tab in the tools menu to print a
single envelope it prints OK.
It's just the mail merge envelopes it wants to print wrong.
I've checked the settings for the printer and in the
envelope options menu.
1. How do I fix the the envelope problem with mail merge?
2 What's the best way to just print the envelopes using
the word template and mail merge?
Thanks, Danno

I think that fellow MVP Graham Mayor has something about this on his website
at:
http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm
That will not be the actual page that you need, but I am working offline at
the moment and cannot go to his site to check the correct page. Go there
and take a look around.

I'm not sure what Doug was referring to on my site (unless its was
http://www.gmayor.com/epson_envelope_orientation.htm), but suspect that this
is simply a page layout issue conflict between the PC the template was
prepared on and yours. Check the page settings for paper size and
orientation.
