Hi, I am using Word 2000. When I click the Tools menu,
there is no option for "Mail Merge". Personalized menus
are turned off and I see the full menu. It should be right
in the middle of the menu, above the Envelopes option, but
it not!

Any clues????
Thanks!

Go to Tools|Customize|Commands, select category All Commands, look for "Mail
Merge" and/or "MailMergeHelper" in the list of commands and drag it to your
menu.

Peter, thanks for the suggestion. Instead, I found a
solution to reset the toolbar. Tools-->Customize, then the
Toolbars tab. Click once to select the MenuBar, keep it
checked. Then click the Reset button and then the Close
button. Close Word and open it again and Mail Merge option
was back in the Tools menu.

Would love to know where it went it the first place!
Thanks!
