Is there any way to insert a text form field in a text
box? I know that I can manually enter a field (ctrl + f9)
named formtext (or whatever it is), but this doesn't do
any good since I can't set the properties (I get an error
message saying that I can't since it was not inserted
using the forms toolbar or the insert formtext dialog box
(what is that anyway?)). I really don't want to convert
all of my text boxes to frames.

Thanks for any help.

I'm afraid that's your only choice. Or use table cells.
