I need to unlink merge fields from an RTF document to import into another application. I can unlink the merge fields from the body of the document fine. I cannot get the merge fields from the header to unlink. What statement do I need to do that? Thank you for any assistance you can offer. Have you separately selected /each different/ header (e.g. start with View|Header and Footer) and used ctrl-shift-F9 (as with the body text) ? I have to update several documents at a time. I got a response on another site on fixing the header. Now I just need to find out if I can copy a field from the header into the body of the document. Is that possible?
