I can't open my data source from a floppy?

I have saved my mail merge to a floppy disk, but when I
tried to open it on the same or different computer I
couldn't why not? I am using word 2002 thanks

Never ever open Word documents from (or save documents to) floppy disc! It
is the surest means of document corruption there is. Copy the files to and
from the hard disc(s) and open them from there.

Thank You for your help, I will try that because I need to
bring my lists with me to different places, So I need to
use floppys. Thanks again, Karen
