Hi,
I am attempting to merge a word 2002 document with a
access 2002 database. The fields i am inserting are setup
as a date/time data type in my access table. there are
several of these fields that are sometimes blank. When i
run my mail merge word is inserting todays date in the
fields that should be blank.
Does anyone know how to get around this?

In this case you probably need to create a query in Access that uses VBA
functions to return the date in exactly the format you need.
