I am trying to merge data from an excel file into a word
document but the data is getting altered in the process.
So for example 23.05 in the excel file wil show up as
23.0499999999 in the word document after merging.
Is there a way to correct that? I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks
Ines

You need a numeric switch on the field

see http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm
