Want to merge charts

I have a mail merge from Excel and a series of chart for each of the merged
records.
I found this suggestion : Create a chart for each record in Excel. Add a
column to the data table and enter the name of the appropriate chart for each
record. Use this merge field in LINK field in the mail merge document.
What I cannot figure out is how to use VBA to automate it so that each
letter will have its own chart.
Can anyone help?

You may be able to use the procedure in the article "Mail Merge to E-mail
with Attachments" at

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm

to send each chart as an attachment.

Doug,
That unfortunately, isn't where I wanted to go.
I am trying to put the chart on the front page of the letter so as to be eye
catching.
I have code that will do it in Word 2000 but it won't work in my enterprise
2002 version at work so I am looking for a work around.
