I don't know, but one of the benefits of using mailmerge to email is that
you're not telling the world what your email list consists of. If you do
want all your email addresses to appear in each others email, then I think
using a distribution list in Outlook or Outlook Express would be the way to
go. In Office 2003 you can use MS Word as your email editor.

Unless the people you want to send information keeps
changing, I have found the MS Outlook allows you to
create a (or many) distribution(s) list so that one click
will send information to many people at once.  A document
can be created in word and attached to an e-mail message
and then sent to a distribution list.  This e-mail
assumes that you have outlook and are familiar with its
basic functions. To create a distribution list in
Outlook, go into "contacts" and click on the down arrow
next to the "new" button on your tool bar.  
Select "distribution list".  From there it is fairly easy
to follow the directions. A tip, however... I usually
begin the name of my distribution lists with a number,
which forces them to the beginning of your contacts.  
When you select the "to" button to select recipients of
your e-mail, all the distribution lists will be at the
top of the list.  I hope this helps. MaryD

In my application, I want to send a mail merge message to a different group
of people each time.  The message itself is pretty much the same
(personalized by mail merge fields).  I have a record in a Excel database
that has each mail merge field as well as the list of people to send to.  I
do not use Outlook to maintain the distribution list since it changes with
each record.

I'm still looking for a commercial solution to this.  I am also pursuing the
"Mail Merge to E-Mail with Attachments" approach as given in word.mvps.org
but the instructions are not very clear.

Any help is appreciated.
