I have been trying to perform the mail merge to an Email.

I am using MS Office Professional.  The data file with Email addresses is in
an Excel  spreadsheet.  I am able to set up the merge just fine and
everything seems to go good.

But when the merge to Email takes place I get an Outlook Error Message
saying that " A program is trying to access my address book...."  do I want
to allow this.

If  I select  yes I   have to select yes for each record in the date file
(1,000 records), as the error messages pops up for each record.

This error makes no  sense in a couple of areas.

First off  there are no (zero) entries in my address book.

Secondly the Email addresses are in the data file for each Email.

Thirdly you'd  think that Outlook  would be smart enough to know  when it
was me that was sending the merge from  Word seeing as how both programs are
written by Microsoft.

I hope  this is just a user error on my part.

This is one of the less useful aspects of Microsoft's security. You can get
round it with a little tool called Click Yes, linked from the downloads page
of my web site.
