Blank sheet of labels NOT for addresses - how?

I'm trying to bring up a blank sheet of labels to use for labelling - NOT for
addresses and I want to make different ones on the one sheet.   I know it's
possible as I've done it before, but cannot for the life of me remember how I
brought up the blank sheet.
