Help!

I've created a merge document in word, which takes it's data from a MS
access query. the data in the Access query is held in UK format (ie date
shows as 9/07/04- 9th July 2004) when merge runs, date shows in resultant
document as 7/9/2004, in US format, when you add switches it displays the
date as September 7th 2004 not 9th July 2004.

I've checked all teh settings in control panel, and my system is set up for
UK English.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Adam

Hi =?Utf-8?B?QWRhbSBD?=,

What you're describing is a common problem in the original release of Word
2002. Later service packs should have fixed this problem.

If, for some reason, installing a service pack is not an option for you, then
you'll need to connect to the Access data using something other than OLE DB.
You'll find instructions for selecting the connection method in the Word 2002
section of my website's mail merge FAQ.
