Using Word 2000

Is it possible to attach more than 1 data source to a main
document in order to pull names from more than 1 source at
a time in a form letter.

data source 1: addressee
data source: signatory

Thank you in advance

No, Word can only use a single "flat" file as a data souce.

Mark,

Can you expand a litle on the format you'd like it all to be in please.
Using the Word field 'Database', I have attached 2 or more data sources
successfully. They have to have some kind of common field but it does work.
Ok, you still have only one main merge data source but other details from
another source can be brought in too.

Thanks
Paul

Mark,

Take a look at my other posting in this group "Optional Merge Fields" (24
August).

I wanted to do pretty much the same thing and found that it's possible to
modify your master document after you attach the data source.

This solution requires fairly good knowledge of VBA, but from my testing it
is possible.

Pete.
